Terrorist tries to kill Jewish farmer near Gaza An Israeli farmer working in his field near the Gaza border was forced to take cover behind his tractor to find shelter from a terrorist sniper in Gaza yesterday. The incident occurred near the location where two Israeli soldiers were injured by sniper fire last month. The man was plowing in the field when the first bullet shattered the windshield of his tractor. He was able to hide until IDF soldiers arrived to escort him safely from the area.

I have stood in those fields near the border with Gaza and met with many of the poor Jewish people who live there in their homes which are constantly under threat of attack. I have done my best as your ambassador to bring them comfort and hope. And as you read this story, I want you to remember that Gaza is land that Israel gave up, forcing every Jewish person living there to evacuate and leave their homes and land behind, in exchange for peace. That hasn’t happened, and it will never happen as long as those who wish to see Israel destroyed and every Jewish person killed are in control.
